ETHOS: Our school enjoyed Thinking Time today – we pondered this question

“What happens to numbers when you stop thinking about them?”

The children are learning “Here Comes The Sun” by The Beatles. Check it out Karaoke style HERE. Bonus points for naming which Beatle wrote this one.

NEW JUNIOR INFANTS: We had a great day welcoming the new junior infants 2014 into our school this week. The building was buzzing and we are very excited to welcome all the children and families into our new school. We will be having our parents meeting next month and shall be in touch regarding details of this soon.

DONATIONS: We had a very welcomed visitor this week; Sorcha Nic Mhathuna who generously donated fantastic teaching resources. Go raibh maith agat as do chabhair Sorcha.

HOLIDAYS: The school is closed this bank holiday Monday and also on Tuesday – so we will return on Wednesday. Please keep your eye on the calendar for our days off. We will have the calendar for 2014 / 2015 next week.
