Welcome to this week’s newsletter,
Parents Association – Bop till you drop! Canal Way Educate Together will host a student Disco at our school for students and their families, on Saturday, 28th February, from 4-6pm. We would kindly ask that children be supervised by their parents/guardians at this event.
Come along and join us for some dancing, games, face painting and general jolliness. We are going to run a pop-up cafe on the day and donations of homemade baking will be gratefully accepted.
Entry: €5 for one child, €8 for two children, €10 for a family of 3 or more.
Word Book Day: Bring in your favourite book on Thursday. Children will have a book filled day.
Student Conferencing: Aodan & Wilma will be hosting student conferencing next week. They have been in touch with the times. Fiona and Hazel will be the following week. You will really enjoy these meetings. Thanks to the staff for putting a lot of work into this.
Spanish Classes Spanish classes will not be proceeding due to lack of demand. We will explore language classes next year, so we will be in touch on this.
Capoeira Classes We trust that this group is now communicating with the parents who enrolled for this activity. We have been asked to pass on a change – the flyer should have said that the classes will start on March 6th.
Kevins Hurling and Camogie Club are hosting an open day for all boys and girls between ages 4 and 12 on Saturday 28th February 10.30am. Location – Dolphin Park is located close to the Fire Station on the Grand Canal. it is on the left hand side heading towards Crumlin Road from the canal, just before Loretto Primary School Google 53.3300697,-6.296006
