NEWSLETTER 11.01.2018

Welcome to this week’s newsletter –

ETHOS: our Core Value is Friendship. Martin Luther King Day is on Jan 15th, and The Young Scientists Exhibition is on in the RDS.

BOARD OF MANAGEMENT & ACCOMMODATION We hosted a coffee morning this morning in the school for local political representatives to inform them of our accommodation, and building needs in CWETNS. It was a well-attended & productive meeting. We are in the process of following up with more representatives and with the media also. Please feel to contact your local representatives, to inform them that due to lack of progress with the Department of Education on extra accommodation & building works, we can only offer 1 class of junior infants for now, and after this year we will have no rooms left in the building.

CANALWAY EDUCATE TOGETHER notes with sadness, the passing of Brian Ruane. Brian was a friend and inspiration to many members of our staff over the years. He lectured in St Patricks College, was an advocate of Educate Together & Human Rights Education. Our deepest sympathies to his family, friends and to the community of Balbriggan Educate Together.
