ETHOS This month’s Core Value is FRIENDSHIP. We learn about Friendship before next month’s Anti-bullying Fortnight. This month is also Positive Mental Health Month.

FRIENDS FOR LIFE PROGRAMME: Friends for Life will be starting back this month as part of mental health month. The programme helps students to develop effective strategies to deal with worry, stress and change and teaches the skills required to reduce anxiety and promote resilience. The Junior Infant and Senior Infant classes will be completing the whole programme, and the remainder of the school will be doing a revision programme. There will be one homework activity each week. Please use this as an opportunity to discuss the content with your child. And Enjoy! Thanks so much Hazel for all the work you’ve done to prepare us for this.

Catherine Ardagh, Ivana Bacik, Micháel Martin (photos here), Michael Mulooly & Aengus O Snodaigh

Thank-you to the representatives for coming to our school, and escalating our needs. In particular thanks to Catherine Ardagh, for arranging yesterdays visit. We are emailing you with details of how you can help the campaign.
