We regularly encounter challenges in finding tradespeople and skilled individuals for ongoing projects within our school. The continuous effort to locate them has led us to reach out to our community for assistance. We have a list of specific jobs, and we would greatly appreciate it if members of our community could get in touch with us to offer their help.
GRAPHIC DESIGN: We need help updating and laying out our school brochure. We have all the art work ready to go. If you are skilled in this area, we would really appreciate your help. This is a project that has been driven by a parent historically and there would be a full handover of this project.
NOTICE BOARD UPCYCLE: We have really good quality old notice boards already in place throughout the school, and we want to give them a facelift by incorporating cork sheets into them. This could be a collaborative task suitable for multiple creative, or even just neat individuals! We will work with you on scheduling a suitable time for this, and discuss solutions and assist in sourcing suitable cork sheets or rolls and equipment.
CABINET MAKING: We need a storage solution for PE and teaching equipment our school hall. We have a good idea of a design, and we envisage this being a bespoke piece of utility built-in storage furniture. We have a budget for this as we realise this is a substantial piece of work that requires time, materials and input with design. If you are the person to do this we would really appreciate your help, or if you know of someone locally who could take on this piece of work, please pass us their details. But we really want you!
PLEASE CONTACT [email protected] if you can help us with any of these projects. Thank-you.
Last week we raised € 1120 for our patron body Educate Together. Thankyou for your kindness and generosity.
The CWETNS Board of Management is currently reforming. Our two new parents representatives have been elected unopposed. We would like to thank and welcome Jennifer Lyons and Liam Murray to the CWETNS Board of Managements as our parent representatives.
We will have full details of all new members on the school website, when the Board has fully re-formed.
