Welcome to this weeks newsletter,

ETHOS: Our core value this month is Justice. We are learning yellow Submarine at assembly.

PHOTOGRAPHS: Please return photograph orders by Friday. This is the last day for orders and you will have to contact County Photos yourself after that.

VACCINATIONS: All forms to be returned to class teacher by Friday.

FOOTBALL: St Pats Athletic Football Club will be visiting us next Wednesday. They are the current FAI-Cup champions and shall be bringing in the cup. Children can dress in red if they wish to celebrate the win.

TEACHING AND LEARNING: Our children have been enjoying visits to the garden. Susan Pike from St Patricks College visited today, she is using some of the great ideas going on here for her book. She will be publishing the book on Primary Geography soon to support excellence in teaching and learning and hopefully using some photographs from here for inspiration in other schools. ACTIVE SCHOOL WEEK: Please send in €12 for your child to finance transport for the week. We will be travelling by bus to Marlay park and to Phoenix park.

COMMUNITY PARK ON CORK STREET: There is a meeting / workshop on Wed 29th April, 18.30 – 20.00hrs in The Fumbally Café News St South – Dublin City Council are planning a new park for a site on Cork Street / Ormond Street. They are looking for contributions from the community for design and development.
