Parent Teacher Meetings  These will be taking place next week after school on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. You will have received a time slot from your class teacher and we kindly ask that you attend at your allocated time. We understand it can be difficult to arrange work etc, but we are also conscious that our staff have commitments outside of work also, and etc.

One Day Together – Coins for Concert fundraiser – We are delighted to report that we raised €1000 for Educate Together ‘One Day Together’ Fundraiser on October 26th – thank you to all for your generosity. A highly entertaining day was had by all. (see photos)

School / Road Safety   Our school warden Fiona, has now been confirmed for the 2:10 school leaving time, and also arrived earlier to help us cross the road. We do not have her for 1.10 due to Dublin County Council policy, as it is assumed that parents will be accompanying the children at this time. Fiona came to assembly this morning and spoke to the children about road safety and how to cross the road, in particular at out tricky junction. Summary:

  • Cross on the yellow box.
  • Do not cross the road until Fiona is in the middle of the road, and has successfully stopped the traffic.
  • Do not scoot or cycle across – please dismount.
  • Do not park at the junction.
  • Do not pull in to drop off at the junction.
