Thanks to our staff for co-ordinating and preparing children with their work, for students conferencing. Thanks to the children for putting so much effort into this and also thanks to all the adults who visited the school over the last week. We have been engaging in student conferencing now for ten years and it is an integral part of our school culture. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
We are enjoying improving and celebrating great improvements in handwriting. The children have been working very hard at their handwriting and the improvement is easy to see. Here is a photo of the children chosen for February, who we celebrated at our assembly. Please continue to support and encourage at home.
On Tuesday, 3rd class were invited to Dolphin’s Barn Library to listen to their new Storyteller in Residence Simone. Both classes walked down safely with help from parents who kindly volunteered. The children enjoyed the stories and got the opportunity to question Simone about her storytelling.
County Photos will be taking children’s photographs on March 6th. All children will be photographed and we will be in touch with you in the coming weeks to provide you with a preview of the photo and you can decide if you want to but them. There is no pressure to buy anything.
