NEWSLETTER 26.11.2015
Welcome to this weeks newsletter,
ETHOS: We have our final assembly tomorrow to end a very successful Human Rights Month. Hopefully you have not been too badgered by your child demanding their right to play, rest, food & medicine ;o)
PARENT TEACHER MEETINGS: We look forward to our meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Drop into the parents room for some fresh coffee, biscuits and a chat. Thanks to the parent volunteers for organising this.
COMMUNICATION: Please read the communication policy in our downloads section, and note in particular the table which is on page 2.
– To request a meeting, please arrange with your teacher via a note, verbal request or email to the office [email protected]. Please do not phone the office to request meetings.
– Also, if your child is sick you must send in a note. Please do not email or phone the office unless it is something the school should be made aware.
PARENTS ASSOCIATION:
TABLE QUIZ TOMORROW: Friday night at 8pm in MacGowan’s pub in Harold’s Cross – great prizes, great fun and a great cause! We hope to see you there. If you can’t make it on the night you can still contribute and be up for some prizes: Raffle tickets will be on sale every morning in the school yard. We are fundraising for teaching equipment and resources for the school.
PARENTS ROOM TALK: Exploring naturopathic tonics and immune boosters for coughs and colds, ‘flu’s and fevers, injuries (and lice!) from both herbs and homeopathy. Mark O’Sullivan is a Homeopath practising in Ranelagh and lecturer at the College of Naturopathic Medicine, Dublin. This talk will take place on Monday 7th December at 8:30am in the Parents Room.
CONSTITUTION: The draft constitution of the Parents Association is up on the website for all parents to look at before it is finalised. Click on the About Us/Parents Association tabs to see the parent section of the website.
Have a nice weekend, and good luck in the quiz tomorrow ….
