NEWSLETTER 25.09.2014

Welcome to this week’s newsletter,

ETHOS – All classes have been working on art projects this week, to decorate our reception area. The themes were ‘Friendship’ in Junior Infants, ‘Core Values’ in Senior Infants and ‘Welcome to our Fantastic School’ in First, Second and Third Class.

There is a Board of Management meeting on Tuesday.

ADMINISTRATION – Thank-you to those who have updated files in the school. Please send in any outstanding information forms and also any outstanding money.

SCHOOL NAME – This will be discussed at the Board Meeting, and we will update you with the next steps in due course.

ENROLMENTS – If you have younger children due to start in the coming years, please ensure that you have them enrolled, as we do not have a sibling policy.

COMMUNITY – Congratulations to those involved in Reuben Street Community Garden, which was officially launched on Saturday. It was a great day. This is an inspirational project, and one we are following closely with the plot beside us in mind. We are arranging an initial professional clear-out of the garden and look forward to devising a plan for this in the near future.

Enjoy the weekend,

Dermot.
