Welcome to our final newsletter of 2022.
Happy Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year. We hope you will have a lovely holiday in the coming two weeks, and we encourage everyone to relax and recharge the batteries with family and friends. We remember families who experienced bereavement this year and we keep you in our thoughts. We hope the new year brings brightness to all.

Thankyou to all the families who attended the assemblies. Our whole staff really enjoyed them, and we know the children did too. We hope you enjoyed them also.
6th class hosted their annual fund raiser last week. This year they raised money for Focus Ireland to help fight homelessness in Ireland. They raised €1279. Thank you to all the families who donated and baked. Thank you to all the children and staff that worked so hard for such a good cause.
Coffee Mornings have been hosted by each class on Friday mornings during Term 1. Thanks to the PAC ,the class reps for hosting. Check the Newsletter and PAC notice board in the yard for the dates of Term 2 Coffee Mornings.
Fourth Class received a participation certificate for their work in the Someone Like Me Art competition and lessons.
Well done for some famtastic art !
Thanks to all for their contributions for our Carepacks as part of the Carepack.ie initiative undertaken by 4th class. We assembled the care packs this week and they are on their way to Carehomes in Kilkenny and Waterford where they will make some residents very happy this week.
Head office pass on their thanks for our donation of €1K which we made to them donated after our dress-up ‘One Day Together’ fundraiser.
This money helps head office support schools int heir work, and helps to keep the Educate Together charity sustainable.
