Message from Dermot
We have come to the end of another calendar year, and there is much excitement around the school for the holidays ahead. The children have enjoyed lots of performing and singing, which reminds us of the wonderful songs we sang over the years, and our famous assemblies. Our new years resolution is to get into the yard and garden to enjoy that again when the weather becomes a little warmer.
Thanks to everyone for their co-operation with the ever changing guidelines over the year, which enabled us to run our school and keep it open.
There are many people in our school community – our children, staff, board of management, parents, families, guardians, grandparents, friends & neighbours. I hope that each one of us enjoys the break, and gets to recharge batteries in preparation for the new year ahead, that hopefully holds bright days for us all. While the celebrations ahead will bring happy times for many, we also remember those in our school community who have been bereaved this year, or who are managing ill health. You are in our thoughts and we send you warm wishes.
Nollaig Shona daoibh go léir, Dermot.
