Dear Parents & Guardians,

Welcome to this weeks newsletter.

ETHOS – Children have been learning all about Charles Darwin this week. They really enjoyed looking at different animals and insects and how they adapt to their environment. Educate Together have their annual ‘One Day Together’ on Thursday 27th 2013. Read about this event here. I shall be putting up a few posters and I know that ET would appreciate if you could get involved.

MEETING – Tonight 20.00hrs to 21.30hrs for parents of children who are in the school this year. We shall elect parents onto the Board of Management. Information meeting afterwards about our progress so far, and our future.

OUT AND ABOUT – WE are getting a guided tour of Stephen’s Green tomorrow from the OPW.

ACTIVE SCHOOLS – Fiona and Eimer have been team teaching art and PE over the last two months. The children are performing a gymnastic display at 11.30am today.
