Welcome to this week’s short newsletter –

CONGRATULATIONS – The campaign has ended for expressions of interest for second level and they received over 4500names. Updates in September.

TEACHING AND LEARNING – Children are planting in the garden this week – lettuce and all things quick! We are welcoming our new junior infants into the school to meet their teachers tomorrow – Aodán & Niamh. We would like to welcome our new teacher Niamh to Canalway ETNS, and you will get a chance to meet in September.

Reminder: Our end of year finale event, Summer party and BBQ, this Sunday from 3-5pm.

Entry 2 euro per person, At the School

  • Live Music – Japanese drummers and sheilaghs ukelele school: performance and workshop and DJ pumping out the latest kid friendly tunes
  • BBQ – with Burgers, Veggie burgers and polish Sausages
  • Games: (hook a duck, boomerang hula hoop and knock the coconut)
  • Fortune Teller
  • A guest appearance from the 501st Legion – meet Star Wars characters & Spiderman!
  • Facepainting
  • Book Shop
  • Optional Fancy dress for all! (Doesn’t have to be star wars themed! Whatever you like!)
