OUT AND ABOUT

We walked to the canal today to look at life in the water, and observed the manmade features of the canal.

ANTIBULLYING POLICY

Please see our new anti-bullying policy in our download section. Our policy is in keeping with the requirements of the Anti-Bullying Procedures for Primary and Post-Primary Schools which were published in September 2013.

HEALTHY EATING

We are really enjoying our healthy eating program at the moment. Enjoy playing with your fruit and veg cards over the weekend.

BOARD OF MANAGEMENT

The Board met on 10th April 2014 and had a lengthy discussion in respect of general enrolment policies, as well enrolment numbers for 2014/2015 and some specific enrolment requests.

A number of draft school policies were reviewed (art, physical education, school collection and anti-bullying) and ratified by the Board.

The school move was discussed and Dermot is meeting a number of local community groups in the Basin Street area in the coming weeks.

The Board was updated regarding the success of the family fun day fundraiser and extended thanks to all involved in supporting the event.
