Please find an email to welcome you back to the new school year, We hope your summer went well, and we are looking forward to opening up on Thursday 31st August.

NEW STAFF We welcome Jenny Rawle and Cian Gleeson to our staff this year. We are delighted to have them onboard and trust you will give them a ‘Canalway Welcome’ when you meet them.
COFFEE MORNING FOR INCOMING JUNIOR INFANT FAMILIES We will be welcoming our new families into the school and we have a coffee morning in the hall for all our new families to have a chat and to dry their eyes before they head off for the morning !

JUNIOR INFANTS
Thurs 31st & Friday 1st 08.45 – 11.00hrs
Week Commencing 4th September 08.30 – 11.45hrs
Week Commencing 11th September onwards 08.30 – 13.10hrs

SENIOR INFANTS
08.30 – 13.10hrs

FIRST CLASS TO SIXTH CLASS
08.30 – 14.10hrs

JUNIOR INFANTS: Incoming Junior Infants assemble in yard at 8:45 – the teachers will come out and lead the classes into the classroom. Parents / minders can collect from the yard at pick up times – please wait for your child’s teacher to dismiss the children one by one until they get to know all the faces.

CHRONIC ILLNESS If your child has a chronic illness, please carefully read our Chronic Illness Policy in our DOWNLOADS SECTION and contact us to immediately.

MATERIALS MONEY Please ensure that you have paid your materials money before October 1st. A reminder will be issued to those who have not yet paid.

SCHOOL BOOKS AND ITEMS Please ensure that all children have their booklist items in their bags on the first day – clearly labelled.

AFTERSCHOOLS More information on the afterschools activities will be communicated later in the week. As per the email sent during the summer registration will open on Monday 4th and activities will begin w/c 11th September. Afterschool activities begin at 2:15 when the senior classes finish school.

SIBLING HOUR Please contact Asha – [email protected] – if you wish to for your child to attend sibling hour (1.10 – 2.10 daily) This facility is primarily intended for Junior / Senior infant children who have older siblings in the school. An email has been sent during the summer on this.
