Seachtain Na Gaeilge is happening in the coming weeks. World Book day is tomorrow.

EARLY FINISH NEXT TUESDAY  MARCH 7th– ALL CLASSES FINISHED AT 13.10HRSOur staff have a meeting to attend, and all classes will be finished at 13.10hrs.

STUDENT CONFERENCING – This initiative invites you into your child’s class, where your child will facilitate a conference with you, and you can browse over the work they are proud of, and discuss school life and their days in CWETNS. Your teacher either has, or will be in touch with times for your meeting. It is a really enjoyable event, and was commended in our WSE last year.

BOARD OF MANAGEMENT The board will be meeting next week. We met last month also, and generally meet every month. We have a busy agenda as always and items that we are working on at present are –

  • The school expansion and the extra accommodation that will be needed in the coming years along with extra toilets etc. The Buildings Committee are working on this at present, and report to the board.
  • Health and Safety.
  • Ratifying policies – subjects, staffing, garda vetting.
  • Enrolments and classes.
  • Finance.

PARENTS ASSOCIATION ANTICS – It was a great night down in The Bello Bar last Friday at the Rock The Way Social Event. Great music and antics all round. If you didn’t make it, you missed a brilliant night. DO NOT MISS IT if this comes around again. Thanks to Mark Jordan who drove the whole evening and organised it with such coolness – thanks from us all. And most importantly – check out the gallery for photos.  (Send in more photos if you have any)

All the best,
