NEWSLETTER-16.09.2016

WELCOME TO THIS WEEK’S NEWSLETTER,

ETHOS: Core Value is Friendship. Please practice Penny Lane at home. The children sounded fantastic at assembly this morning. Ciarán’s class sang four songs for us. Two of them were ‘as Gaeilge’ … Maith sibh na Naíonáin Mhóra !

International Day of Peace is on September 21st. Autumn Equinox in September 22nd.

INFORMATION REQUEST Any families currently in the school with younger siblings who are due to start Junior Infants in September 2017 please check with the office that we have their details on our enrolment system.

JUNIOR INFANTS: Thank-you parents for your support leaving the children in – please leave them in the line and your teacher will walk them into the building in a line. We need to take the children into our care safely and make sure they are in the building orderly and calmly. They are doing great !

UP THE DUBS

I was rightly reprimanded by the students for not mentioning the match at assembly, so we had a sing song in the yard – Have a look at the photos in the gallery – we had a Mayo Jersey and a Dublin Jersey – Equality all the way !

Enjoy the weekend,

UP THE DUBS
